When your kitty spends the night with us, they’re treated like one of our own. Our overnight stays are designed to feel peaceful, predictable, and deeply comforting, the kind of environment where even the most sensitive cats can settle in and rest easy.
Cancellation Policy
The Meowtel at Meowter Banks provides a calm, cat‑only environment designed to keep your feline feeling safe, understood, and cared for while you’re away. With only three private 3‑tier enclosures, we maintain a peaceful, low‑stress space where every guest receives individualized attention. Care & Environment: Each cat stays in a private enclosure with soft bedding, fresh litter, clean bowls, and enrichment. We follow your cat’s feeding and care routines as closely as possible. Evening and morning wellness checks ensure comfort, cleanliness, and emotional well-being. Our boarding room is secure, climate‑controlled, and intentionally quiet. Capacity & Reservations: We board up to three single and six bonded cats at a time. Bonded pairs may share an enclosure if appropriate. Due to limited space, early reservations are recommended. Drop‑Off & Pick‑Up: Check‑ins and check‑outs occur during café hours. Early drop‑off or late pick‑up is available at $8 per hour. Please allow a few minutes at check‑in so we can review your cat’s needs and help them settle. What to Bring: Please provide enough food for the entire stay, any medications in original packaging, and optional comfort items such as a blanket or toy. We supply bedding, litter, bowls, and enrichment. Medication & Special Needs: We can administer most oral medications and select injections for a small fee ($5–$10). We cannot administer medications requiring veterinary supervision. Cats with medical or behavioral needs beyond our scope may be better served at a veterinary boarding facility. Health Requirements: Cats must be up‑to‑date on core vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian and free of fleas, ticks, and contagious illnesses. If signs of illness appear, we will contact you immediately and follow your emergency instructions. Two‑Cat Options: Bonded pair sharing one enclosure: $125/night. Two cats in separate enclosures: $150/night Overnight Care: While we are not a 24‑hour staffed facility, your cat is cared for in a secure space with structured evening and morning routines. Our overnight rate reflects the responsibility, presence, and safety protocols required for after‑hours care. Our Promise: We treat every cat with patience, gentleness, and respect.
